3rd Week at WCB Design Agency – Bangkok, Thailand

Finished my 3rd week here at agency and would like to share what I have learned so far.

Since I have started, I have got to hear and learn about various new terms and here are just a few of the applications I have been using allot lately.

MailChimp is tremendously easy to use and it’s a great entry point for small businesses that are just getting started with email marketing.

The analytics are straightforward, showing opens, bounces, clickthrough rates, subscriber behavior, and more.

Google Analytics

Google’s web analytics tool has massive reporting capability, rivaling paid web analytics solutions.

Google Analytics is free, it has the ability to track multiple sites, monitors social networking activity, measure video performance and has the ability to track mobile phone users

WordPress is an online, open source website creation tool written in PHP. But in non-geek speak, it’s probably the easiest and most powerful blogging and website content management system (or CMS) in existence today.

For example, famous blogs like Mashable and TechCrunch are both on WordPress. News outlets like The New York Times’ blogs and CNN’s on-air personality blogs all use WordPress, too.

Adobe Photoshop CC

It is regarded as the best photo correction and manipulation, very slick and fast.

Loads of tools for mobile and Web design. Content-aware editing. Video editing. 3D design capability.

Adobe continues to improve the world’s leading photo editing software; the 2017 edition adds universal search, templates, and new companion apps for designers.

Adobe Illustrator

Adobe Illustrator is a program used by both artists and graphic designers to create vector images. These images will then be used for company logos, promotional uses or even personal work, both in print and digital form.

Bitly is a link shortening service that creates short URLs that redirect to the original longer web address.

Bitly also offers analytics tools with real-time link tracking that allow you to track your short URL as it is shared across social networks and blogs. As well as seeing how many times your link has been clicked, Bitly also shows you who clicked on it and where they are located in the world.

Pro Rank Tracker

Pro Rank Tracker makes sure you always know where your websites are ranking. It has the most accurate algorithm of any rank tracking tool.

Propbably one of the best value for your investment in the marketplace today for tracking your websites.
